THE INFINITE REFERENCE POINT
Many people have been bitten by the poison of liberalism. The Infinite Reference Point as the first axiomatic principle of God's Being is where we must begin on every subject of study to be sucessful to the accuracy of our approach.
The Infinite Reference Point was used by Francis Schaeffer as a counter to Sarte's Finite Reference Point. Francis Schaeffer demonstrated the Infinite Reference Point as the God giving meaning to all things since all things are created through Him (Colossians 1:16-17).
As a first principle, I argue that God is, and His Word is True. These two first principles are axiomatic. The theorems of those axioms would be the doctrines that flow from the postulates and axioms of Scripture.
The evidence would therefore be the consistency of the argument in correlation of the implications from the world around us. So, for example, if God says he created trees, and we encounter trees, then that would be a means of evidence of what we would expect to find. The evidence does not support the argument, but demonstrates which can see in the given formula:
What must be, in order for what is to be what it is.
It is an Epistemological approach Gordon H. Clark called dogmaticism.
This is over-simplified, but is sufficient in short for the foundation of my site which is designed honor the Lord Jesus Christ. The Infinite Reference Point is reflected by Scripture Alone which will bless some, and still cause others aches of the head in the conviction of their sins.
